Belagavi: About 9000 vacant vacancies of the animal husbandry department will be recruited in the year 2020 and 2021 phase to phase in coming days, said minister for animal husbandry, WAKF and HAJ Prabhu Chavan.
Speaking in Belagavi on Wednesday, he said there are a total 18,000 vacancies in the animal husbandry department in which 50% vacancies are vacant. I have raised this subject in the assembly and cabinet as well. This problem is pertaining to the past 20 years. The process was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we are planning to conduct the recruitment in a year phase by phase he said.
He said that he is coming with the idea of setting up a ‘War room’ in Bengaluru to directly receive the complaints of farmers over the non working veterinary doctors. Many farmers complained that the doctors did not come to the veterinary hospital for weeks. Therefore, the ‘War room’ from Bengaluru will receive the complaints of farmers by helpline. There will be a systematic way to address and resolve the farmers grievances.
