Belagavi: BJP government’s top priority is the prosperity of all caste and communities in the state. CM Yeddyurappa formed the Maratha board in view of development of this most backward commuity in the state said National President of BJP youth wing Tejasvi Surya.
Speaking in the city on Saturday, he said it was not right to call the Karnataka ‘bandh’ against the Maratha Development board. Many people do not know that there are Kannada speaking Marathi people in Karnataka. The development of the six crore Kannadiga people is the responsibility of the Karnataka government. Thus, I defende the government’s decision of forming the Maratha board. Calling ‘Bandh’ to oppose the development of any community is not good culture. it should be stopped. The bandh culture should be stopped in the state. Today’s bundh call is failuire. It is not right and required to grow ‘Kannada’ by opposing anyone he advised the Kannada organisations.
He appealed to the leaders of Kannada organizations to sit down with the government and discuss with the government and chief minister BS Yeddiyurappa. He is ready to listen the words of the Kannada activists he said and appealed to let together work for the development of Kannada.
