Belagavi: In the lines if Belagavi city corporation, The Cantonment Board of Belagavi has also adapted the digitisation to deliver it’s services to the citizens at just a click away. Board launched an integrated Public e- Chaawani Portal that is.belgaum.cantt.gov.in w.e.f 07-01-2021.

Through this portal the general public of Belgaum Cantonment can apply online for obtaining Trade License, renewal of lease, payment of fees online and complaints can also be lodged through this portal.

Chief Executive Officer of the board Barchaswa, organised a awareness campaign in Cantonment area to bring more awareness among residents of Cantonment by distributing Pamphlets. The citizens were made aware of how to register their complaints, how to get Trade License, How to get lease renewal through online by using Cantonment Board e – Chhawani portal.

CEO also requested the residents to extend their cooperation in Digital India and transparant process by making use of e- Chhawani portal and he also said that for any clarification regarding use of this portal residents can also contact the Cantonment Board Office e Chhawani Help desk at Office.

Niranjana Astekar, Vice President, Elected Members Vickram Purohit, Sajeed Shaikh, Rizwan Bepari, Arbiya Dharwadkar, Aleddin Killedar, M Y Talukar, Office Supdt. Satish Mannurkar, Asst Engineer, SM Kalal, Accountant, Priyanka V Petkar, Revenue Supdt, Rakesh Melgiri, Store Keeper and all staff of Cantonment were present at the campaign.
