Belagavi: Babasaheb Shivanagouda Nemagouda, Superintendent of Police of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Belagavi office has been awarded the President’s Medal of the Year.
The President’s Medal has been awarded to 19 different officials of the state and the SP of ACB Belagavi Nemagouda is one among them. He has served as SP of the Belgaum Division’s Anti Corruption Bureau for over a year. He was appointed as a PSI in 2002 and served at several places including Dakshina Kannada, Belagavi and Bagalkot. He was promoted to Police Inspector (CPI) in 2010 and served in various departments including the Lokayukta.
He has been appointed as DYSP by clearing the KPSC Examination in 2012 and served in various districts including Davangere. He then conferred with the Chief Minister medal in 2015. He is now working as Superintendent of police for ACB, Belagavi office and been awarded president medal for his exceptional service.
He has served in the Police Department for a long period of 18 years. He has served his duties efficiently during his tenure. He has received various commendation letters and awards for his outstanding service and has been selected for the President’s Medal for his outstanding service. The medal ceremony was held in Delhi at the Republic Day Ceremony.
