Belagavi: The ‘Gram Swarajya’, ‘Cow Slaugther prohibition bill and and ‘Love Jihad’ bill has been discussed and decided to impliement in the state level executive meeting of BJP said State president Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Speaking at a news conference in the city on Saturday, he said, “We have a special state executive meeting every month. Development of Villages under the concept of ‘Gram Swarajya’ has been discussed. The meet also decided to bring cow slaughter prohibition bill and law against ‘Love Jihad’. The leaders of party have been instructed to cooperate with the party workers in the Gram Panchayat elections. The BJP organizes a monthly executive meeting in the state. A special executive meeting is being held once every three months. This time it is delayed due to COVID19. The state executive meeting was held very successfully in Belagavi.
For the by-election, Bhagwant Khoba, Rajkumar Patil Sedam, BY Vijayendra, Laxman Sawadi have been appointed as In charge for the Basava Kalyan constituency while while Muniratna, V Somanna, Basavaraj Bommai have been appointed for the Maski by-election. Responding to a question on whether an election committee will be constituted in the by-election, he said the committee cannot convene without calling a full-fledged task force. It will be discussed in the core committee once the party disciplinary committee decides.
The case of Love Jihad has come to light at Sullya. Some cases are also found in the Malnadu and Coastal parts. It is a matter of worrying and not a good development.
