Belagavi: The demo on COVID19 vaccination was conducted successfully at three locations of the Belagavi district. The vaccine demo was successfully conducted at Vantamuri Smart City Hospital in Belgaum, Hukkeri Taluk Hospital and Community Health Center in Kittur.
All the 25 people who registered their names in Kovin App participated in the Dry run that held in three places in Belagavi district. About 25 people arrived in the smart city hospital in Belagavi in due time while first 25 people registered their names at the vaccination centre, and then, after verification of documents, they were vaccinated. Later a demo was run that how the observation is made after vaccination of vaccine. The demo ran smoothly and without any obstacles.
The demo also conducted to see how to conduct a treatment if someone felt any reaction after administration of the vaccine. Deputy Commissioner MG Hiremath visited the Vaccine Demo Center and observed the centre. He said that more than 28,000 government and private sector medical staff have been trained on how to conduct the vaccination in Belagavi district. Once the government supply the vaccination, the staff trained will be present to the duty of vaccination said DC MG Hiremath.
The Belagavi district is having facilities capable of storing 8 lakh vaccines in the Belgaum district. The vaccine will be distributed as per the direction of the government. The dry run has been conducted successfully in three places of the district he said.
